Can’t wait to make this mousse! I’m curious what brand and type of yogurt you like to use as a topping? Thanks!
Hey Jennifer, I love using Cocojune!
Hi, you are one of my favorite contributors & I love all of your recipes.
Can I use firm tofu for the High Protein Chocolate Mousse?
Hey Pat, Thank you so much for your kind words! I would suggest against firm tofu because you likely won’t get the texture smooth enough to be a mousse. Flavor wise, it won’t make a difference but texture will certainly be off.
Hi, Can you please tell me how many Tablespoons or Cups 60grams of protein powder would be? Can less than that amount be used? Thanks!
Hey Joanne, its around 5 or 6 tablespoons. The back of your protein powder should tell you how much a scoop is in grams and thats a great indicator! I hope you enjoy this recipe 🙂
Can your recipes please come in metric also?
Hi Alana, unfortunately I do not test my recipes in metrics so I cannot provide them to you accurately. There are many calculators online that you could utilize however you may need to tweak the measurements slightly. Thank you!
I used firm tofu instead of silken and it worked beautifully. After it set in the fridge the texture was divine. And it was even better the second day. My kids approved of it as well. I’m thinking of trying to make a “vanilla” version next. Thanks for the delicious and simple recipe.
Hey Erin, Thanks so much for the raving review! i am so happy that all turned out beautifully 🙂 Glad the kids love it too – they will never know it’s healthy heheh!! Appreciate the rating and review
Can’t wait to try this! Mori-nu has changed their tofu from 12 oz to 10.9 oz (shrinkflation at its finest). Do you think that will mess up the ratio too much? I’m so annoyed with them…I have so many recipes I’ve been using for years that call for the 12 oz container that they no longer make.
Hey Lisa, I didn’t realize that about Mori Nu but that is totally fine for this recipe, it shouldn’t be a problem! Enjoy!!
Hi! Excited to try this. Is silken tofu the same as firm silken? Brand you recommend? Also is all cacao powder raw?
Hey JB, there are different varieties of silk and tofu, but you can use any of them for this recipe, firm silken, soft silken, any will do! I like Mori Nu. Also, not all cacao powder is raw, but it’s my favorite variety because it has the highest nutrient density!
Hey there! So what is your go to for your raw cacao?
Hey Angie, I love Navitas or Wilderness Poets for my raw cacao powder 🙂
