There’s something utterly magical about watermelon, and I can’t get enough of it during the scorching summer days.

Did you know that watermelon is 92% water?

It’s a hydration hero! And beyond quenching your thirst, it offers an array of health benefits. Watermelon is a fantastic source of vitamins A and C, essential for healthy skin and a robust immune system. It’s also rich in potassium and magnesium, vital minerals that support heart health and keep your muscles happy. Plus, watermelon is abundant in essential amino acids and antioxidants, making it a fantastic addition to your diet.

How to Make this Incredibly easy Smoothie

This 3-ingredient smoothie is a breeze to whip up. All you need is:

– watermelon

– frozen strawberries

– frozen banana

The pinch of salt enhances the flavors, elevating this blend to new heights. As an added bonus, it’s a perfect solution for using up extra watermelon or those slightly less-than-perfect pieces that don’t quite meet your snobbish watermelon standards (we’ve all been there! 🙋🏻‍♀️). Waste not, savor all the goodness!

Optional Boosts

Feel free to customize your smoothie adventure with optional add-ins. Amp up the protein content by adding a scoop of vanilla protein powder, sprinkle in some hemp seeds for a nutrient-packed boost, or enhance the color and nutritional profile with a teaspoon of beet powder. The options are endless, and you can cater this smoothie to suit your unique preferences and nutritional needs.

Want to see this refreshing concoction come to life?

Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying a picnic in the park, or simply in need of a quick and nutritious pick-me-up, this smoothie is your go-to choice. Embrace the goodness of watermelon and revel in the simplicity of this recipe – you won’t be disappointed!
