If you love green goddess salad dressing, you are going to be obsessed with this dip! It’s bright, herby, and unbelievably creamy. This Green Goddess Dip is a plant-based twist on a timeless classic; made with avocado, parsley, basil, and a hint of jalapeño, it’s the kind of vibrant, fresh dip that makes every veggie tray feel instantly elevated! I teamed up with Fareway grocery store to make this recipe, and when I tell you they had everything I needed, I really mean it!

From all the fresh produce to the dippables, I grabbed precut veggies and my favorite crackers to enjoy these dips last weekend on a picnic. Whether you’re prepping an easy appetizer for a party, building a snack board, or just want something healthy and satisfying to dip into midweek, go to Fareway and get all the goods! It takes just 5 minutes, requires no cooking, and comes together in a blender with simple ingredients. What more could you ask for?!

What is Green Goddess Dip?

Green Goddess dip is a creamy, herb-forward dressing or dip originally made with mayonnaise, sour cream, and anchovies. This version skips all the dairy and fish, but keeps all the fresh flavor. The base is a ripe avocado, blended with herbs, citrus, garlic, and a little heat from jalapeño. The result is a lush, tangy, and totally vegan Green Goddess dip that’s as good for dipping as it is for spreading or drizzling.

Green Goddess Dip Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make this easy Green Goddess dip at home:

  • Avocado: The creamy base that makes this dip smooth and rich without any dairy.
  • Parsley: Fresh and grassy, it gives the dip its signature green flavor.
  • Basil: Adds sweet, peppery depth and fragrance.
  • Green onions: Mild, oniony bite that blends beautifully.
  • Lime juice: Brightens everything and brings out the herbs.
  • Jalapeño: Just a little heat to balance the creaminess. You can omit this if you’re a strictly non-spicy person!
  • Garlic: Adds sharpness and depth.
  • Maple syrup: Just a touch for balance.

How To Make Green Goddess Dip

This dip couldn’t be easier! I promise you that all you need to do is add the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. One thing to suggest is to start with 2 tablespoons of water and add more as needed to thin. Taste and adjust, and add more lime juice for brightness, more herbs for boldness, or a splash of water for a thinner texture if you feel it’s necessary. Once creamy and dreamy, pour into a serving bowl and start dipping! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

What To Serve With Green Goddess Dip

This Green Goddess dip is perfect for parties, casual snacking, or adding a burst of flavor to bowls and salads. It pairs beautifully with Fareway pre-cut veggies like carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, snap peas, and cherry tomatoes for a crisp, colorful snack board. You can also serve it with gluten-free crackers, tortilla chips, or pretzels for a satisfying crunch. Spread it onto wraps or sandwiches to instantly upgrade your lunch, or drizzle it over grain bowls and roasted veggies—just thin it with a splash of water or lime juice for a pourable texture. However you serve it, this dip brings a vibrant, creamy finish to every bite!

Why You’ll Love This Easy Green Goddess Dip

This dip is fresh, creamy, and feels like a celebration of everything green. It’s totally plant-based, with no mayo, dairy, or anchovies—just real, nourishing ingredients. Ready in just five minutes with a blender, it’s the perfect dip to serve if you’re having last minute guests. Thanks to avocado and herbs, it’s also nutrient-rich, packed with fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. It’s meal prep friendly, easy to store, and endlessly versatile. I highly suggest using it as a spread and salad dressing as well. You can easily adjust the consistency when blending!
