These tofu wings require just FOUR ingredients, little effort, and minimal time in the kitchen. Get ready to indulge in the crispiest, most flavorful tofu you’ve ever tasted! For this recipe, I recommend using high-protein super-firm tofu, which not only gives the wings a meaty texture but also saves you from the hassle of pressing the tofu.

  • high protein super-firm tofu
  • tapioca flour or arrowroot powder
  • gluten-free vegan Korean BBQ sauce (or any wing sauce you fancy!)
  • sesame seeds

Korean BBQ Tofu Wings

Aka the PERFECT game day snack! Little effort, few ingredients, and you my friend will have the CRISPIEST tofu you ever had. Be sure to use high protein super-firm tofu for this recipe - it makes the texture sooo meaty and means you can skip the dreaded tofu pressing! the whole recipe comes together in 30 minutes (most of which is the tofu in the oven while you get to relax) so add this to your game day menu today! You will be surrounded by tofu lovers in no time!

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Oven

Ingredients
  

  • 16oz high protein super-firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour or arrowroot powder
  • ½ cup gf vegan Korean bbq sauce, or any wing sauce you fancy!
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425. Line a large metal baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Break the tofu into 1.5” pieces in a bowl. Sprinkle with the tapioca flour and shake to coat. Pour onto the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until golden and crispy on the edges. Transfer to a large bowl.
  3. Meanwhile, warm sauce in a small saucepan on the stove. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with additional sauce for dipping!
