Bursting with the colors of the season and assembled with care, this Holiday Harvest Layered Salad is a fresh innovation on a beloved classic, perfect for adding that special touch to your dinner spread.
Every layer of this salad unfolds a tapestry of textures and flavors, tailored to complement the rich and savory notes of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. It’s a culinary nod to the bounty of autumn—a vibrant, nutritious, and delicious addition that’s sure to charm your guests. With each forkful, experience the harmony of ingredients that make this festive season truly memorable.
Pomegranate Balsamic Dressing
You’ll also want the coveted canister for your layered salad if you didn’t grab one already!
Layered salads offer so much more than just an eye-catching presentation. They’re incredibly practical, allowing each ingredient to maintain its unique texture and taste until the very moment of serving. As the layers are gently nestled atop one another, they avoid becoming soggy or wilted, preserving the crispness of vegetables and the freshness of herbs.
The stratified assembly means that the dressing is at the bottom, subtly marinating the lower layers without overwhelming the entire dish. When it’s time to eat; the preparation is already finished and all you have to do is toss it all in a large bowl! I love the fact that I can make it ahead of time because I am often the busy host, and this ensures a stress-free, flavorful, and nutritious contribution to the table every time!
Without any added sweeteners, it mingles seamlessly into the savory profile of the salad, offering a delightful textural contrast that’s both surprising and sophisticated. This granola brings a nutty bite that elevates the salad, complementing the tender vegetables and juicy pomegranate arils. It’s this granola that completes the experience, turning each forkful into a delightful mix of flavors and a crunch that resonates with the festive spirit.
This salad is a heartfelt nod to the season, carefully crafted to bring joy and nutrition to your holiday table. Each ingredient has been chosen with intention, each layer artfully arranged to ensure every bite is as delicious as the last.
I hope this layered salad not only satisfies your taste buds but also serves as a centerpiece for connection, conversation, and gratitude around the table this year and for many to come. Here’s to a holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and plates piled high with the goodness of the harvest.

Hi Meliz! Do you still have the containers like the one you used above for the layered salad please?
Hey – you can purchase a canister here https://amzn.to/3OSS56e ! Hope this helps 🙂
I have made variations of this salad a couple of times and plan 2 more to bring for Thanksgiving. It works perfectly and it is so versatile. You can use what you have. As the only vegan in the family I love to bring dishes that wow and make people see that veganism IS NOT BORING! Thank you for this beautiful inspiration! 😍
Excellent! I love these containers. I was getting very bored with salad, this has changed my life! So delicious. Buy the 2 pack of jars so you can make 2 at the same time. I never had pomegranate or granola in a salad before, game changer! Thank you so very much for your 10 star salad!
I cant wait to make this. It looks amazing. What can I use in place of the granola- this one isn’t sold anywhere near me.
Hey Tammy! Any granola could work if you cannot find the one I suggested, the idea is just to add that crunch factor!
