I tried this one and believe me it’s crazyyyyy yum. Super simple and comes out delicious . Took it to a party and it was super hit.
Hey RT, I am so glad you enjoyed this layered salad! Make sure you try the others too – I am sure you’ll love them! Thanks 🙂
Amazing! What a brilliant idea. When I saw it online I decided I was going to make it for my bridge clubs prizegiving and Christmas party. Well I think everyone commented on it and many asked for the recipe! I found the exact same container at our local supermarket, only thing it ends up making a very large amount of salad once turned out and there were over 30 members and only half eaten so I think a smaller container would have been sufficient. Will definitely be making again but in a smaller container.
Hey Eleanor! Glad the recipe was such a hit with your community!
LOVE this salad. I made it for an Engagement party and multiple people asked me for the recipes. It is packed with flavor and everyone loved the “crunch.”
Hey Donna! So honored that you trusted me to feed loved ones at an engagement party! What excitement. Congrats to the happy couple and many thanks for the raving review!
Love love love this salad. This is an amazing recipe to make ahead of time. The chickpeas really absorbed all the flavors from dressing and tasted amazing the next day. I was so worried about the veggies getting soggy but they stayed fresh and crunchy despite making a day before my work potluck. Thank you so much for this salad recipe, was a big hit in our potluck.
Hey Sravani, I am so happy that you enjoyed the salad and it was such a hit at the potluck!! I truly love the fact that this salad stays so well until ready to serve, it is such a time saver!
Im a nurse, its difficult staying healthy and motivated.Lovely recipes.
This makes me really happy to read Donna! I know many nurses have irregular hours so it’s great that you’re finding recipes that align with you!
Thanks for the recipe. This is the second one I’ve made. Took too potluck and a fair bit of it disappeared. A couple of people asked for the recipe. There are other layers salad recipes I want to try, and if it’s just for home, I’ll try a quarter recipe. Yum!
I used cranraisins instead of regular, because I love them! 😊
So glad you’re trying out the layered salads Jessica, happy creating!
Delicious, but made way too much for my group. How long will it last in the refrigerator and would it freeze or be too watery after thawing?
Hi Claudia! It is definitely a great salad for a large group. Luckily, even after flipping/tossing it will hold up really well in the fridge for a bout 5-6 days! I would not recommend freezing.
Absolutely delicious 🤤 thank you for the amazing recipe and wonderful instructions
Love that you’re loving my recipes, thanks for the comment 🙂 Happy cooking and baking!
This salad is AMAZING!! I got to make it ahead of time, so that was great for getting ready for a party 2 hours from my home. It didn’t get soggy at all & was absolutely delicious! Rave reviews from EVERYONE at the party!!
And the oh’s and Ah’s when I served it were very flattering (though we know who deserves the credit!) I shared the recipe link with everyone!
SO glad to hear it was a hit!! 🙂 Thank you, Mary!
